Job Description
Twilio is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to lead relationships with growth and mid-market Communications platform customers. This role involves protecting and growing Twilio’s communications business across assigned customers through analytical and consultative sales cycles. The Strategic Account Executive will build deep partnerships across product management, finance, support, and operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and expand key Regulated Verticals customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver strong revenue and profit results.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities within the account portfolio.
  • Serve on a cross-functional account team.
  • Manage forecasts and present guidance to executive management.
  • Run consultative sales cycles, focusing on customer needs.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using Salesforce.
  • Stay current with industry changes and share best practices.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of sales experience, with 3+ years in major account or strategic sales.
  • Expertise in managing quantitative products and solutions.
  • Experience in relationship management, cross-selling, and solutions consulting.
  • Comfortable working with business and technical leaders.
  • Analytical account development strategy skills.
  • Track record of managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Record of delivering revenue and gross profit results.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
