Job Description

Role involves:
  • Defining and driving the strategic vision for Twilio’s architecture.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of high-performing architects and engineers.
  • Ensuring world-class reliability, scalability, and security for all products.
  • Influencing and guiding architectural and product decisions.
  • Representing Twilio as a thought leader in the industry.

Requirements:
  • 15–20 years of relevant industry experience, including 5+ years in senior architecture roles.
  • Extensive leadership experience in scalable architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and lead organizations through complex architectural transformations.
  • Experience designing scalable and resilient enterprise-grade platforms and applications.
  • Deep cloud expertise with hands-on experience in cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaborator, able to influence and build productive relationships.
