Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Talent Partner to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. The role is based in either Montreal or Toronto and will focus on supporting the recruitment efforts for the Product and Technology teams, with a strong emphasis on hiring senior software developers. The Talent Partner will also support ongoing recruitment for the Financial Services and Retail teams, managing sourcing, application evaluation, technical interviews, and offers, while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full recruitment process for senior software developers.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team and sharing expertise.
  • Tracking recruitment data and using insights to improve processes and strategy.
  • Engaging with top-tier talent through recruitment events and strategic sourcing.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Lightspeed's overall recruitment plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end technical recruitment, with success in hiring senior software developers.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing and engagement.
  • Experience managing multiple mandates and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent communication skills.
