Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their North American team in Montreal. This role is the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying relevant leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate has experience in lead generation or selling technology solutions.
Role Involves:
- Qualifying inbound leads from marketing sources via phone and email.
- Nurturing leads until qualified.
- Providing excellent first impressions to current and potential clients.
- Determining client needs to assess the suitability of Lightspeed's solutions.
- Managing multiple leads, including calls, emails, chats, and referrals.
- Managing the existing client database using Salesforce.
- Collaborating with the Sales Development Manager to develop new growth strategies.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in sales or customer service.
- Experience in technology (software, mobile, or other) is a major asset.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and resourceful.
- Good command of technology.
