Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Quality Test Developer to join their Hospitality team in Montreal. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and consolidating product testing strategies, acceptance testing, and test case design, as well as coordinating defect management within the Lightspeed product team. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on a growing sector of the company from day one, while collaborating with innovative talents.

Role Involves:

• Writing automated test scripts and creating test cases and plans to identify software issues.
• Improving the existing quality framework to enhance the efficiency and performance of release delivery.
• Collaborating with quality specialists, product managers, developers, and designers.
• Championing quality by ensuring the highest level of product quality is maintained.
• Sharing knowledge and best practices, identifying and proposing process improvements, and managing their implementation.
• Participating in daily agile ceremonies and proposing innovative ideas.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in writing automated test scripts in Python.
• Experience in designing, planning, executing, and analyzing automated tests.
• Experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Autonomy and ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
