Labelbox is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineering Manager to lead a new team that directly engages with customers. This role involves building and optimizing the team's operational processes to ensure successful delivery and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will manage the implementation of customer projects and oversee a network of AI experts, contributing to quality improvements for Frontier AI Labs.

• Managing and leading forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or sales engineering teams.
• Building teams from scratch, including hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Developing and implementing effective operational processes and metrics.
• Leveraging an AI-powered talent acquisition system to build expert teams.

• Demonstrated experience managing forward-deployed engineering teams.
• Proven track record in building teams from scratch.
• Strong experience developing operational processes and metrics.
• Solid engineering background with familiarity in software development lifecycle.
• Professional background in the AI industry.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• High degree of confidence and agency.
• Prior experience in the human data industry (desirable).
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams (desirable).
