Job Description
Razorpay is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. Razorpay is a leading financial services organization committed to providing innovative payment and business banking solutions to Indian businesses. The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of production systems, with a focus on banking infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Establish smooth running of environments and prioritize developer productivity.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure environments.
- Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
- Collaborate with application teams to apply DevOps practices.
- Create solution prototypes and conduct proof of concepts.
- Design automated and scalable processes to improve efficiency and software quality.
- Automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Troubleshoot issues, define mitigations, and communicate resolutions.
- Engage in incident handling and promote a culture of knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of DevOps experience.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with Configuration Management tools (Puppet/Chef/Ansible).
- Scripting skills (Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, golang, etc.).
- Troubleshooting and system engineering experience in Linux production environments.
- Experience with MySQL database engines (must), PostgreSQL (good to have).
- Experience working with RDS and Elasticache.
- Strong communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Logging, and Monitoring stack.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Well-versed with networking at AWS.
- Ability to manage infrastructure operations at the bank.
