Job Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Senior Onboarding Manager to manage the company's largest accounts and ensure a smooth customer journey. This role involves cross-functional coordination between sales, solutions architects, professional services, training, and support. The Senior Onboarding Manager will report to the Manager, Customer Activation & Onboarding and will be located in the United States on the West Coast.

What this role involves:
  • Managing dbt Lab’s largest accounts to initial product adoption.
  • Communicating account setup requirements and expectations to customers.
  • Collaborating with sales, professional services, support, and training.
  • Meeting with prospective dbt Cloud customers to assess service experience needs.
  • Tailoring new and existing customer onboarding enablement for the region.
  • Working with customers in Asia-Pacific.

Requirements:
  • Experience working asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team.
  • Natural cross-collaboration skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage customer executives and ask clarifying questions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in a customer success or customer-facing project management role.
  • Ability to articulate the value of professional services.
