Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Assistant Manager for their Commonwealth Plaza Midwood location in Charlotte, NC. This role involves creating excellent customer experiences by utilizing product expertise and professional skills. The ideal candidate will be a coach, team player, and lifelong learner who can embrace challenges and foster a positive work environment.
Role Involves:
- Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Taking and recording measurements and adjusting eyewear.
- Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards.
- Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings.
- Managing a team of Opticians.
- Upholding service standards and implementing retail experience programs.
- Supporting store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
- 2+ years in a management position.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Passion for eyewear and retail.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
