Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Keyholder for their Commonwealth Plaza Midwood location in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role involves creating excellent customer experiences by utilizing optical skills, a friendly attitude, and product knowledge. The Licensed Optical Keyholder will assist both new and returning Warby Parker customers, ensuring they are satisfied with their eyewear.

Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
  • Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear.
  • Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
  • Explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
  • Set the store up for success by ensuring operational and service procedures are followed.
  • Drive store vision and sales by providing excellent service.
  • Lead and mentor the optical team.
  • Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
  • Foster a positive employee culture.

Requirements:
  • Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
  • 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
  • Passion for the eyewear and retail industries.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Dedication to customer and teammate satisfaction.
  • Energetic, positive team player.
