Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Keyholder for their Commonwealth Plaza Midwood location in Charlotte, NC. This part-time role involves providing exceptional customer experiences by utilizing optical expertise and product knowledge. The Optical Keyholder will also act as a key-holder to the store, helping with opening and closing duties, as well as maintaining internal operations. They will foster a positive work environment for opticians and retail advisors.

What this role involves:
  • Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
  • Taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear.
  • Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
  • Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings.
  • Setting the store up for success by ensuring operational and service procedures are followed.
  • Driving store vision and sales through excellent service.
  • Leading and mentoring the optical team.
  • Maintaining store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
  • Fostering a positive employee culture.

Requirements:
  • Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
  • 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
  • Passion for the eyewear and retail industries.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Dedication to customer and teammate satisfaction.
  • Energetic and positive team player.
