Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optician for their new store opening. The Optician will be an expert in the Warby Parker brand and glasses, providing extraordinary customer service to customers. They will partner with motivated individuals and expand their skill set with career-advancing resources and benefits.
What this role involves:
- Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear.
- Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
- Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
- Collaborating with the team to improve sales and customer service practices.
- Representing the brand and educating others about its values and mission.
Requirements:
- A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
- Passion for the eyewear and retail industries.
- Clear, effective, and professional communication skills.
- Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Energetic, positive team player with adaptability.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Open-minded and eager to learn.
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
