Job Description
Copper, a firm specializing in digital asset infrastructure, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in London. The candidate will help maintain a reliable, distributed infrastructure across multiple data centers. They will support the deployment and operation of services with high availability requirements and contribute to infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with the Backend Engineering team to enhance system resilience through monitoring and metrics, and help improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a reliable, distributed infrastructure.
  • Supporting the deployment and operation of services.
  • Contributing to infrastructure automation.
  • Collaborating with the Backend Engineering team.
  • Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participating in the setup and maintenance of infrastructure for blockchain nodes.


Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
  • Familiarity with modern web application architecture and CI/CD processes.
  • Basic understanding of network security principles and tools.
  • Hands-on experience with containerisation (e.g., Docker) and virtualisation technologies.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Experience working with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
