Job Description
Copper, founded in 2018, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their finance team in London. Copper is building the standard for institutional digital asset infrastructure with a focus on custody, collateral management, and prime services. The finance team supports the wider business through day-to-day operations, regular reporting, performance management, and other specialized activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a purchasing function and implementing purchasing strategies in a fast-growing company.

Role involves:
  • Vendor management, including developing and maintaining a "source of truth" vendor listing.
  • Negotiating new vendor agreements and annual renewals.
  • Managing the annual renewal cycle for suppliers.
  • Critically evaluating spend across the business to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Providing input into FP&A forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of leading a purchasing function.
  • Experience in implementing purchasing strategies and processes.
  • Strategic thinking and understanding of Procurement processes in a fast-growing company.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years post CIPS qualified experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
  • Proven track record communicating directly with Exco members.
