Job Description
Nubank is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their team. This role acts as a bridge between business needs and the data platform, ensuring data availability, optimal modeling, governance, and performance across the organization. The Senior Analytics Engineer will share best practices and develop new tools to enhance data consumption efficiency and security.

- Lead data projects from requirement mapping to database modeling and data delivery.
- Implement data ingestion and create data pipelines.
- Contribute to the design, documentation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of data codes and tools.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and scalability in the ETL/ELT platform.
- Translate business needs into data-aligned solutions and products.
- Negotiate data strategies with stakeholders, aligned with Nubank's data governance.
- Mentor team members and promote data literacy within Nubank.
Requirements:
- Experience in data engineering within complex and/or large-scale environments using big data.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for complex problems and data modeling.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining data pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in general-purpose languages (e.g., Python, R, Scala).
- Good communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g., documentation, automated testing, clean code).
- Knowledge of database architecture and modeling techniques for analytical purposes.
- Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics.
- Advanced English (B2+ CEFR level).
