Payments - QA Engineer

Job Description

Betsson Group is seeking a QA Engineer to join their Payments Engineering team in Buenos Aires. The team is responsible for building the best payment customer experience and improving the payment options across various brands and markets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the latest technologies and capable of handling company-critical responsibilities.

The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Betsson Group's payment systems. He will work within a Scrum team, contributing to the design, development, and automation of tests. He will also be involved in requirement definition, root cause analysis, and process improvement.

Role Involves:

• Developing a deep knowledge of the product to identify weaknesses and enhance testing effectiveness.
• Designing and developing automated tests using industry-standard tools.
• Playing an active role in the ongoing requirement definition and growth of the product.
• Promoting a quality mindset through coaching and close collaboration with the team.
• Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks using latest technologies and best practices.
• Conducting root cause analysis of issues to provide detailed and actionable feedback.
• Improving the Software Delivery process to enable faster delivery of high-quality increments.

Requirements:

• Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language, preferably C# as well as Javascript and Typescript.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
• Proficiency in using test automation libraries like Playwright and Puppeteer, as well as frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
• Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
• Experience working in Agile teams with a shift-left mentality in testing.
• Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
