Job Description

Karbon, a global leader in practice management software for accounting firms, is seeking an Associate Product Manager. This hybrid role, based in Karbon's Melbourne office, involves working with the Product Management team to support their roadmaps and the Product development team to build features. The Associate Product Manager will gather product requirements, analyze data, conduct customer research, and coordinate with stakeholders.

Role Involves:

  • Supporting the Product Management team in delivering roadmaps.
  • Working with the Product development team to build and support features.
  • Gathering product requirements and aligning them with business goals.
  • Analyzing data to understand user behavior and success metrics.
  • Following competitors and the industry to contribute product ideas.
  • Synthesizing customer research.
  • Assessing value, developing use cases, and prioritizing features.
  • Championing the backlog of customer requests.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to achieve the product vision.
  • Reporting bugs and errors to the development team.

Requirements:

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for building great products.
  • Knowledge of analytics, roadmapping, project management, and collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of UX/UI best practices and engineering processes.
  • Ability to articulate plans and generate insights.
