Job Description
Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking an Adoption Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team. This role focuses on optimizing customer adoption and utilization of the ThousandEyes platform through best practice recommendations. The Adoption Engineer will work alongside the Customer Success Specialist, serving as a post-sale technical consultant throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring customer success through adoption-driven playbooks, product trainings, and customer roadmaps.

What This Role Involves:
  • Proactively building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with customers.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Success Specialist and Sales team on account strategy.
  • Identifying customer strategic initiatives and potential use cases.
  • Driving adoption through best practice recommendations.
  • Identifying new and expansion opportunities.
  • Sharing customer feedback with the Product team.
  • Delivering product updates sessions.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services or similar technical customer facing roles
  • Strong desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of network infrastructures, cloud technologies and application frameworks
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, JavaScript)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • English and one of the Iberian languages (Portuguese or Spanish) are required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
