Job Description
Merge is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge the gap between prospects/customers and its product. This role involves consultative selling and technical expertise to ensure customer success throughout their lifecycle. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with engineering and product teams to prioritize feature requests, resolve bugs, and influence the product roadmap. This position offers high value and impact, with significant internal and external visibility.
What the role involves:
  • Leading technical engagements with prospects and customers through proofs of concept, implementations, and ongoing support.
  • Driving a seamless developer experience and taking ownership of technical relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Partnering with engineering and product teams to surface product improvements based on customer and prospect feedback.
  • Building the foundation for a successful solutions engineering practice through technical demonstrations, training, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or software engineering.
  • Prior experience working on highly technical products at startups is highly preferred.
  • Track record of robust stakeholder management skills both internally and externally.
  • Computer science background or other technical/quantitative orientation.
  • Strong work ethic, goal-oriented, and great attention to detail.
