Job Description
Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Senior Analyst, Product Analytics to join their team in San Mateo, CA. This role involves working directly with multiple Product Managers across the company to enhance product analytics efforts. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for conceptualizing advanced analytics projects, defining product analytics metrics, and executing hypothesis testing for product features. They will also analyze data from online marketing campaigns, conduct online customer analyses, and build machine learning models to predict customer behaviors.
What this role involves:
  • Extracting and integrating data to support analytical efforts.
  • Writing complex SQL queries.
  • Analyzing in-app customer journeys through Adobe/Google Analytics.
  • Conceptualizing advanced analytics projects related to product feature prioritization.
  • Defining product analytics metrics.
  • Designing and executing hypothesis testing and analytical solutions for product features.
  • Analyzing data from online marketing campaigns.
  • Conducting online customer analyses and machine learning modeling.
  • Supporting and monitoring live experiments.
  • Conducting data analysis and building machine learning models.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience extracting and integrating data to support analytical efforts.
  • Two (2) years of experience writing complex SQL queries and analyzing in-app customer journeys through Adobe/Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Adobe Analytics and Machine Learning.
