Associate General Counsel, Employment

OKX is seeking an Associate General Counsel for Employment to join their Legal team. This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Deputy General Counsel for Employment. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and guidance on global employment matters, supporting the company's operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

The Associate General Counsel will work closely with HR, finance, compliance, and recruiting departments, managing legal requests and advising on legal concepts and risks. They will also be responsible for drafting and implementing legal and compliance policies, conducting internal investigations, and managing employment litigation.

What this role involves:

• Managing legal HR, employment, and recruiting matters for the company and its global affiliated entities.
• Providing legal advice and guidance on all employment matters affecting the company.
• Strategizing and managing employment litigation and arbitration matters.
• Supporting HR and compliance by conducting internal investigations and interviewing employees.
• Drafting and implementing effective legal and compliance policies, trainings and standardized processes.

Requirements:

• Attorney licensed to practice law in Singapore and/or Hongkong.
• 9+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal team working on international employment matters.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, growth-stage and multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to effectively advise and build trust with business teams.
• Experience working on cross-jurisdictional matters and a global legal team.
