Applied AI Engineer - Support

Job Description

DevRev is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join their team. In this role, the engineer will work closely with the pre- and post-sales Customer Experience team, developing solutions over the core platform using languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. The Applied AI Engineer will use their creativity and expertise to shape how AI, analytics, and workflows are used in customer processes.Role involves:

• Designing, developing, and implementing integrations, automations, and customizations.
• Utilizing AI in novel ways to solve customer problems, including Generative AI techniques.
• Working on semantic search engine fine-tuning.
• Conducting data analysis, writing SQL queries, and building dashboards.
• Communicating and keeping constant feedback loops to all key stakeholders.
• Learning new tools and guiding customers through critical workflows.

Requirements:

• Software engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on coding experience using TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, APIs, Webhooks, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies including models like GPT-4, prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
• Knowledge of vector databases and data embeddings.
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal in English).
