Job Description
Wayve is seeking a Senior Manager of Vehicle Generalisation to lead their Vehicle Generalisation team. This team is focused on making Wayve's machine learning driving system platform-agnostic. The Senior Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team across robotics, controls, and ML to abstract away hardware differences through modeling, data, and system design. This role offers the opportunity to shape how intelligent systems interact with the physical world.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and driving the vision for vehicle generalisation.
- Leading and growing a multidisciplinary team.
- Overseeing new platform bringup.
- Guiding the development of models and tools.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with autonomy, data, and evaluation teams.
- Owning metrics and reporting.
- Fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Requirements:
- Strong technical foundation in robotics and applied machine learning.
- Experience building real-world systems that interact with hardware.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to turn complex goals into clear roadmaps.
