Guidepost Montessori School at Blue Ash is seeking a Lead Children's House Guide to empower 3 to 6-year-olds. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of preschool children in a Montessori environment. In this role, the teacher will prepare an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest. They will provide personalized support to each child, working individually and in small groups, demonstrating how to use materials, and giving precise language to understand their experiences.

Guidepost Montessori equips every classroom with high-quality Montessori materials and a budget for guides to personalize their space. The classroom is set up according to Montessori principles of beauty and order, designed to enable every child to learn, concentrate, and achieve independence.

Role Involves:

  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment that fosters concentration and independence.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
  • Providing individual and small-group lessons.
  • Forming personal connections with each child.
  • Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Obtained or is willing to obtain a Montessori diploma for 3-6.
  • Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a group setting.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies or open to learning more.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (any subject).
