Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher for their Central West End school in St. Louis, Missouri. This role offers the opportunity to nurture infants in a Montessori environment designed for growth and independence. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of infant children, preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest.

Role involves:
  • Observing each child to understand their needs.
  • Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence in children.
  • Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect.
  • Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Ideal candidate has:
  • Interest in pursuing Montessori training or prior Montessori diploma.
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development college credits (Preferred).
  • Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
