Guidepost Montessori in Downtown Naperville, Illinois is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher. This role involves nurturing toddlers in a Montessori environment designed for growth and independence. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler-age children, preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest.Guidepost Montessori is a growing network of 100 schools across the U.S. and Asia, serving children ages 0-12.Role Involves:

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence in children.
• Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills and language development.
• Forming personal connections with each child and fostering a community of respect.
• Communicating and collaborating with parents.

Requirements:

• Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or prior Montessori diploma.
• Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
• Familiarity with child-led philosophies or openness to learning more.
• 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, ECE, or a related subject.
