Job Description
Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for their Arbor Spring school. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler children in a Montessori environment. The role involves preparing an environment that fosters independence, providing personalized support, and working with children individually and in small groups.
  • Observing each child to understand their needs
  • Preparing an orderly environment
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence
  • Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills, language, and grace and courtesy
  • Forming personal connections with each child
  • Communicating and collaborating with parents
An ideal candidate:
  • Interested in pursuing Montessori training or have a Montessori diploma
  • Has experience working with children ages 0-3
  • Familiar with child-led philosophies
  • Has Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development college credits (Preferred)
  • Earned a Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
