Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for their Central West End school in St. Louis, Missouri. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler-age children in a prepared Montessori environment. The role involves fostering independence, exploration, and growth in toddlers.Guidepost Montessori equips every classroom with high-quality Montessori materials and provides a budget for personalization. The environment is designed to enable children to explore, learn, and achieve independence.Role Involves:

• Observing children to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
• Providing lessons in practical life skills, language, and grace and courtesy.
• Forming connections with children and parents.

Requirements:

• Interest in Montessori training (sponsored) or prior Montessori diploma.
• Experience working with children ages 0-3.
• Familiarity with child-led philosophies.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development college credits (Preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
