Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for their Blue Ash school in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Lead Guide will support a mixed-age class of toddler-age children in a Montessori environment. The role involves preparing an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest. The Guide will provide personalized support to each child, working individually and in small groups, demonstrating how to use materials, and giving precise language to understand their experiences.

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
• Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills and language.
• Forming personal connections with each child.
• Communicating and collaborating with parents.

An ideal candidate:

• Is interested in pursuing certified Montessori training or has a Montessori diploma.
• Has experience working with children ages 0-3.
• Is familiar with child-led philosophies or open to learning more.
• Has Early Childhood Education credits.
• Has earned a Bachelor’s Degree.
