Guidepost Montessori in Downtown Naperville, Illinois is seeking a passionate Spanish Immersion Teacher to join their team. This role involves supporting a mixed-age classroom of toddlers and preschool children in a Montessori environment. The teacher will prepare an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest, providing personalized support to each child. They will work with children individually and in small groups, demonstrating how to use materials and perform activities, and giving precise language to understand their experiences.Role involves:

• Observing each child to understand their needs.
• Preparing an orderly environment that fosters trust and independence.
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence.
• Providing lessons to encourage practical life skills, language, and grace and courtesy.
• Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect.
• Communicating and collaborating respectfully with parents.

An ideal candidate:

• Is interested in pursuing certified Montessori training or has a Montessori diploma.
• Has experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting.
• Is familiar with child-led philosophies or open to learning more.
• Has 6 or more Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
• Has earned a Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
