Job Description
FREENOW is seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric General Manager to oversee its German operations. This role involves close collaboration with central teams and reports directly to the Regional General Manager. The successful candidate will assume full ownership of the FREENOW business in Germany and Austria, encompassing strategic development, market positioning, and P&L responsibility.

Role involves:
  • Planning and delivering P&L and KPI targets.
  • Identifying and developing new revenue streams.
  • Implementing operational planning and financial control systems.
  • Collaborating with central Finance teams.
  • Steering supply and demand.
  • Developing and evaluating value propositions for drivers, passengers, and businesses.
  • Optimising daily operations.
  • Cultivating relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Representing the German market within central functions.
  • Monitoring key business metrics.
  • Championing talent development and retention.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience leading senior teams with direct P&L ownership.
  • Confident and engaging presence with strong social and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Strong affinity for sales, marketing, and commercial negotiations.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Deep understanding of technology-driven marketplaces.
  • Extensive network within German market segments preferred.
  • Native or near-native (C2) German level and at least a C1 level in English.
