Altium is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Professional Services team. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between software development and infrastructure delivery for Altium's enterprise clients. The Senior DevOps Engineer will architect resilient cloud-native environments, streamline deployment pipelines, and deliver tailored automation solutions.Role involves:
Building and optimizing CI/CD processes.
Streamlining automation efforts for server provisioning and application deployment.
Building resilient and scalable service infrastructure.
Deploying, monitoring, and scaling application services.
Collaborating with software development departments.
Planning and documenting work and projects.
Mentoring team members and driving knowledge sharing.
Participating in project management and strategic planning.
Troubleshooting complex production issues.
Participating in an on-call rotating schedule.
Requirements:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Significant cloud ops experience with AWS.
Understanding of securing cloud data and industry standards.
Passion for building great cloud infrastructure and products.
8+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE environment.
8+ years of experience working with Linux and Windows systems.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Storage, Route53).
Hands-on experience architecting and securing cloud networking such as VPC peering, subnet, security groups.
Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab, or alternative CI systems.
Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Domain.
Familiarity with microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes.
