IMC is seeking a Legal Counsel to ensure operations comply with legal requirements and ethical practices. The Legal Counsel will act as a business partner, providing legal support across departments. This junior attorney role reports to the Senior Legal Counsel in London.
Responsibilities include:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements (commercial, inter-company, IT/IP, procurement, trading, and technology-related).
Corporate housekeeping (drafting resolutions, UK Companies House filings, and contract management).
Collaborating with and advising various departments (Trading, Technology, Risk & Compliance, Finance, HR, and Procurement).
Monitoring and implementing relevant new legislation.
Requirements:
Academic degree in UK Law.
3–5 years of relevant experience at a Law Firm and/or In-house Legal Counsel.
Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with Contract Law, preferably with UK Corporate Law.
Motivated, proactive with a hands-on mentality and a strong sense of urgency.
Strong and confident communicator.
Collaborative team player with a good sense of humour.
Ability to act independently and perform successfully in a fast-paced, technology-driven, and at times high-pressured environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
