Director, Finance and Accounting Permanent Placement (Full Desk)

Vaco is seeking a Director for their Financial Permanent Placement group in San Francisco. This role involves recruiting top talent for client job orders and developing client relationships with finance and accounting leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Market services and candidates for accounting, finance, tax, and audit roles.
• Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
• Consult with hiring managers and serve as a client partner.
• Foster long-term relationships within the finance community.
• Develop candidate qualification strategies.
• Negotiate salaries.
• Manage job orders from start to finish.
• Collaborate with teams to fill positions and cross-sell business lines.
• Achieve sales and performance goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in audit, tax, or public accounting preferred.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or consulting preferred.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or other professional designation a plus.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
