Job Description

MERGE is seeking a VP, Business Development Leader for Adobe Platform Sales to cultivate new business and grow the Adobe Experience Cloud platform consulting practice. The ideal candidate will drive net new revenue through lead generation, networking, and partnering with Adobe sales leaders and Adobe Partner Managers. This role requires a "hunter" mentality, thriving on prospecting, consultative selling, closing deals, and winning.

In this high-visibility role, the VP will work with Technology Solutions Leaders, Partner Marketing, Business Development teams, and Adobe’s salesforce to craft and close complex deals. The role involves connecting client needs with Adobe solutions and MERGE’s capabilities.

Role Involves:

  • Leading new business growth by telling the MERGE + Adobe story.
  • Owning sales targets and exceeding expectations through strategic selling.
  • Building a 4-quarter pipeline, qualifying leads, and advancing deals.
  • Partnering with Adobe sales teams to identify joint opportunities.
  • Leading winning RFPs and proposals.
  • Cultivating relationships with Adobe Sales leaders and client decision-makers.
  • Translating client challenges into strategic solutions with a strong ROI narrative.
  • Presenting to senior leadership, clients, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 7–10+ years of proven success in enterprise sales, ideally in technology or consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications (MBA preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Adobe Experience Cloud and the MarTech/SaaS landscape.
  • Experience selling to Marketing, IT, and Line of Business leaders at Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas and driving business outcomes.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility at all levels, especially with C-level executives.
  • Strong collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset and hands-on execution ability.
