Job Description

MaintainX is seeking a Technical Lead - SRE to join their Catalyst team. This role is pivotal in fostering technical excellence and collaboration across engineering teams. The Technical Lead will guide a team of 2-4 developers, actively contributing to solutions while championing DevOps practices and ensuring engineering efficiency. MaintainX is the premier mobile platform for managing procedures for industrial and frontline workers. Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2-4 developers, providing technical guidance.
• Promote the adoption of "shift left" practices within development teams.
• Bridge the gap between development and Scale teams, ensuring accountability.
• Observe and represent on-the-ground realities in technical leadership forums.
• Identify emerging issues and ensure they are addressed.
• Mentor on work practices and technical domains.
• Onboard new team members.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience implementing and adopting "shift left" strategies.
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and culture.
• Experience integrating DevOps into software development teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience building high-performing teams through mentorship and coaching.
• Fundamental understanding of Kubernetes and IaC tools like Terraform and Helm.
• Knowledge of modern web development tools (React, Node.js, Typescript) and API architecture.
• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure and database offerings (S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Elasticache).
