Job Description

MaintainX, a leading asset management and work intelligence platform, is seeking a Sales Compensation Manager. This role involves overseeing commission processes, ensuring timely execution, and supporting team growth. The Sales Compensation Manager will report to the Finance Operations Manager and play a crucial role in leading and executing commission operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of commission workload and collaborating with the commission analyst.
  • Leading other members of the commission team.
  • Leading the final review and approval of commission calculations.
  • Taking charge of tracking the results of all sales teams in different systems.
  • Leading smoothly process or system transitions, including ad hoc changes to compensation plans.
  • Identifying and implementing best practices for scalable and efficient commission processes.
  • Serving as an internal expert for CaptivateIQ.
  • Working in partnership with Revenue Operations.
  • Assisting the Financial Operations Manager in scalability planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales compensation within a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Proficiency in commission processes and execution of compensation plans.
  • Familiarity with incentive compensation design.
  • Hands-on experience with CaptivateIQ or similar commissioning software.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones.
