Staff Salesforce Engineer (f/m/x)

The Staff Salesforce Engineer role is with a company based in Berlin, Germany. This role is critical in shaping and launching a brand-new engineering team focused on the Salesforce platform. The Staff Salesforce Engineer will combine hands-on technical leadership with strategic direction, setting the foundation for long-term success.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in Salesforce platform development.
• Strong understanding of when to use declarative versus programmatic solutions.
• Solid expertise in Salesforce data modeling, API integrations (REST), and asynchronous communication patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tooling for Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
• Broad software engineering foundations, with familiarity in adjacent systems (e.g., backend services, databases, microservices).
• A passion for mentorship, fostering team growth, and sharing knowledge.
• Curiosity and a drive for continuous learning.
• A collaborative and inclusive communication style.
