Launch Potato is seeking a Director of Syndication at FinanceBuzz to define and lead the content strategy across key syndication platforms. The Director will set the editorial vision, refine the brand voice, and create a roadmap for long-term revenue and audience growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in daily execution.FinanceBuzz is looking for someone who loves numbers as much as words, can dig into large data sets, and translate insights into a content strategy that delivers measurable results. The Director will work closely with the Editorial Operations Manager to maintain efficient production and stay deeply involved in tasks such as sprint planning, editing, headline writing, and photo selection.This leadership role involves overseeing a high-performing editorial team, mentoring senior staff, and making data-driven decisions to maximize reach, revenue, and impact. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who understands the intersection of personal finance, lifestyle content, and clickworthy storytelling.Responsibilities:

• Define and lead content strategy across syndication platforms
• Maintain FinanceBuzz’s editorial voice and excellence
• Monitor performance data to iterate on content strategy
• Review, edit, and approve content
• Collaborate with SEO, Monetization, and Analytics teams
• Mentor and manage a team of writers and editors
• Represent the Syndication team in company meetings
• Introduce editorial experiments to improve performance

Requirements:

• Proven ability to lead high-volume editorial operations
• Fluency in content syndication platforms
• Mastery of Looker and Google Sheets
• Adept at leading a team and developing scalable strategies
• Exceptional editorial judgment and creative ideation skills
• 7+ years of digital editorial leadership experience
