Job Description
FinanceBuzz is seeking a Director of Syndication to lead content strategy across platforms like MSN and Apple News. This role involves defining editorial vision, refining brand voice, and creating a roadmap for revenue and audience growth. The Director will analyze data, develop content strategies, and collaborate with the Editorial Operations Manager to ensure efficient production.
Responsibilities:
  • Defining and leading content strategy across syndication platforms.
  • Maintaining editorial voice and quality.
  • Monitoring performance data to optimize content strategy.
  • Reviewing and approving content.
  • Collaborating with SEO, Monetization, and Analytics teams.
  • Managing a team of writers and editors.
  • Representing the Syndication team in meetings.
  • Introducing editorial experiments.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to lead high-volume editorial operations.
  • Fluency in content syndication platforms.
  • Mastery of Looker and Google Sheets.
  • Adept at leading a team and developing scalable strategies.
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and creative ideation skills.
  • An open mind around the implementation of AI.
  • 7+ years of digital editorial leadership experience.
The role offers:
  • Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework.
  • Compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits.
