Job Description
Scalapay is seeking a motivated Account Manager to foster long-term relationships with merchant partners in Italy's e-commerce sector. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of assigned merchants, proactively pursuing new sales and business opportunities. They will also gather, analyze, and report key data points.

Responsibilities:
  • Retain and grow portfolio through sales calls, business reviews, and negotiations.
  • Advise merchants on revenue and marketing optimization using Scalapay's premium products.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team on the Go-Live of large Enterprise.
  • Optimize integration to maximize penetration within the assigned portfolio.
  • Manage co-marketing activities with merchants, collaborating with the Marketing team.
  • Use data analysis to identify business opportunities and create custom sales presentations.
  • Create case studies and best practices to scale account management activities.
  • Test new approaches to increase revenue and provide weekly forecasts.
  • Advocate for merchants with internal stakeholders to improve business model and services.
  • Support the team in positioning Scalapay as a Buy Now, Pay Later pioneer.
  • Meet merchants face-to-face at market visits, fairs, and events.
  • Stay updated on industry innovations.

Requirements:
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to grow partnerships.
  • Experience in upselling and cross-selling.
  • Structured Sales Process measured by clear Leading Indicators and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills and data-driven profile.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management or business consulting, preferably in e-commerce.
