Job Description
Truveta is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure applications, cloud infrastructure, and critical assets from cyber threats. The role involves assisting in application security assessments, collaborating with engineering teams, and maintaining knowledge of security best practices. The Cloud Security Engineer will also contribute to Truveta's vulnerability management strategy and interact with privacy and compliance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in driving Application Security Review assessments.
- Collaborate and build relationships across Engineering teams.
- Participate in vulnerability review processes.
- Proactively engage Engineering teams to ensure timely remediation of issues.
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of application and infrastructure security best practices.
- Continuously review security and privacy practices.
- Assist in defining, driving, and delivering key elements of Truveta’s vulnerability management strategy.
- Interact with privacy and compliance teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application & system security reviews.
- 3+ years of experience in managing vulnerabilities in a cloud environment.
- 2+ years of experience in developing with Python, .NET, Java.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
