Revenue Accountant

Job Description

Pico, a company that fuels the global capital markets community, is seeking a Revenue Accountant for their team. This role is based in New York and will be a key member of the revenue accounting team, primarily responsible for international revenue accounting while also contributing to US revenue accounting. The Revenue Accountant will ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

The role involves:

• Overseeing and managing revenue accounting processes.
• Managing the monthly revenue accounting close process.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards.
• Reviewing sales orders for correct accounting treatment.
• Managing the revenue cycle and reporting in audits.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems.

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 2/3 years of PQE required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel / Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Oracle; Salesforce (or other ERP) preferred.
• Exposure to different accounting standards (USGAAP, IFRS and local GAAP).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in a growing business environment.
