Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Senior Computer Operator to manage the operation of computer hardware for their Managed Services Client, St. Clair Hospital, in south Pittsburgh, PA. This role ensures the efficient functioning of computer hardware and systems, maintains computer equipment, and keeps recording logs. The Senior Computer Operator resolves errors and escalates issues as needed. Responsibilities:

• Efficient functioning of computer hardware and systems
• Maintenance of computer equipment
• Maintenance of recording logs and other information
• Error resolution and appropriate escalation

Requirements:

• High School diploma plus technical training
• 2-4 years of computer operator experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong communication skills
