Job Description
Mangopay is seeking a Compliance Officer to act as a Regulatory Leader in Luxembourg. This role involves implementing and operating Mangopay's compliance policies and frameworks. The Compliance Officer will provide guidance to the leadership team, analyze regulatory changes, and ensure timely engagement on regulatory reporting and requests. They will also maintain strong regulatory relationships and promote a robust risk & compliance culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing strategic guidance on EU compliance and financial crime matters.
  • Developing and implementing compliance policies, processes, tools, and systems.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and providing advice to ensure Mangopay can adapt.
  • Overseeing key regulatory relationships in Luxembourg, interacting with the CSSF.
  • Promoting a strong regulatory and risk management culture.
  • Establishing effective compliance controls to identify, measure, monitor, and report risks.
  • Implementing reporting mechanisms for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Staying informed on industry developments and best practices.
  • Conducting training sessions and providing compliance-related guidance.
  • Supporting strategic decision-making as a member of the Luxembourg leadership team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field (Master's a plus).
  • Extensive experience in compliance within the financial services industry, preferably in Fintech or payment solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in the Luxembourg financial services sector.
  • Experience in managing relationships with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
