Monzo is seeking a Job Architecture Project Manager to join their Reward team on a 12-month FTC. This role involves building a job architecture framework from the ground up, aligning it with the company's vision and growth plans. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in researching, designing, and implementing job architecture frameworks, with a focus on creating clarity, fairness, and opportunity for all employees.
The role involves:
Taking full ownership of researching and establishing Monzo’s future approach to Job Architecture.
Aligning the job architecture with Monzo's long-term company vision, growth plans, and evolving technology.
Researching and designing the Job Architecture methodology, processes and how it will be applied and managed on an ongoing basis.
Considering how Monzo benchmarks roles, defines job families and levels, and supports career progression.
Leading the project end-to-end, from discovery through design to delivery.
Running key conversations across Monzo, listening to teams, shaping solutions, and communicating the final framework.
Acting as an expert advisor, offering strategic guidance rooted in best practice but shaped for Monzo.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with researching, designing and implementing Job Architecture frameworks with a global mindset and advise on best fit and practice
Experience developing and implementing internal role levelling frameworks and have detailed knowledge of market benchmarking techniques
Experience in project management including vendor management
Fintech / Start up / Scaling experience
Understanding the interaction between a HRIS and Job Architecture framework
