Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Senior Partner Marketing Manager to support its relationships with top cloud and LLM providers like Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform. This role involves working with partner marketing and sales teams, as well as cross-functionally within GitLab, to execute content, campaigns, programs, and events that build awareness and drive pipeline.
The role involves:
- Driving the creation of relevant partnership content, including joint customer success stories, blog posts, whitepapers, and webinars.
- Conceptualizing and managing partnership presence and activation at owned and third-party events.
- Developing and managing marketing campaigns that drive awareness of partnerships and contribute to marketing pipeline.
- Building strong and productive relationships with partner marketing and sales organizations, and GitLab colleagues.
GitLab is looking for someone who brings:
- 5+ years enterprise software marketing experience, ideally working with software partners, including Hyperscalers and traditional resellers and managed service providers.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies across the entire Software Development Lifecycle, especially in large enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, and the ability to distill down complex ideas in a variety of mediums.
- Proven experience being self-directed and working with minimal supervision.
- Data-driven approach to measure results and inform decision making and strategy development.
- High EQ and an excellent relationship builder.
