Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Named Account Executive to manage prospective and existing customers within the top end of the mid-market (250-3,999 employees) in the US. The Named Account Executive will be the primary point of contact, managing projects from small, fast-growing teams to complex enterprise projects.Role involves:
  • Meeting or exceeding quota while fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Articulating the value of GitLab to prospects and customers.
  • Building a strong pipeline through prospecting.
  • Ensuring adoption of solutions and avoiding churn.
  • Collaborating with the Partner ecosystem.
  • Creating accurate forecasts.
  • Contributing to root cause analyses and documenting improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Contributing product ideas.
  • Mastering MEDPICC and Command of the Message.
Requirements:
  • Progressive experience with SaaS sales.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software.
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and sales techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivation, drive, and results orientation.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
