Manager, Business Operations [Motor, OGI]

Job Description

PhonePe is seeking a Manager of Business Operations for Motor and Other General Insurance (OGI) to join their Insurance Business Operations team. This role requires a professional with strong operational expertise, a tech-first mindset, and leadership skills to manage large teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline processes, drive automation, and ensure seamless issuance of insurance products with high service standards.Responsibilities include:

Requirements:

• 5–8 years in insurance operations, business operations, or relevant functions in insurance, e-commerce, or fintech.
• Understanding of API-driven processes, automation tools, and system-level thinking.
• Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and lead change.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage both internal and external partners.
• Customer-first attitude, strong ownership, and a problem-solving approach.
• Must be based out of or open to relocating to Pune.
• Willingness to travel to partner locations regularly.
