Nightfall AI is seeking a Senior ML Platform Backend Engineer to join their team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader who can drive execution, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the long-term architecture of the platform.Nightfall AI is an AI-native DLP solution that helps organizations secure and manage their sensitive data. The company's platform leverages AI to achieve high accuracy and prevent data leaks across SaaS applications, endpoints, and generative AI.This is a hybrid role based out of Nightfall's San Francisco office.Responsibilities:

• Drive great execution and deliver against clear goals.
• Hands-on technical design and coding.
• Help shape the architecture of the AI Detection platform.
• Implement best practices in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on technical development experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• Experience programming in Python, Go, Java, C++ or related language.
• Expertise in building machine models for real-time production environments.
• Experience with machine model inferencing for use in low latency and high throughput, microservice environments.
• Experience with ML Ops frameworks such as Vertex AI, Sagemaker, etc.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
